Dread Locks

I will make your black top flecked
And your fleeces become fur-leeses
Now guess where I´m shedding?
On your bedding
So everyone is sneezing
Coughing and cursing
They come at me
With brushes, combs and try
To tame these rebel locks
Which morph
Into dandelion spores
Drifting and gliding
Like freedom flags
On the wild wind

 

Demons Of Desire

There's something in the jaunt
Of your tail
That shoots shivers through mine
Your jade lantern eyes
And subtle scents
Invoke a feverish ferocity

 

I simply can't resist you

 

That's my supper call
Will you still be here
Later?

 

Tail Of A Cat

Didn´t you notice
There´s a fandango
In my tail ?

A horse´s tail swishes flies
While mine is a writhing snake

A dog´s tail droops and wags
while mine´s a flag hoisted high

A mouse´s tail trails behind
While mine quivers with flamenco fire

This tail
Is a dancing shadow
Of the soul´s darkest passions

 

Windfall

Rolling
On a crackling carpet
Of fallen leaves
Savouring rays
Of windfall
Sungold

 

Handycat

When the handyman comes
I like to help out

He opens the tool box
And I jump into it

He drops a screwdriver
So I pick it up
And hide it

He makes a pile of dust
Then I spread it around

He has a mug of tea
So I have a sip too

Cat Magick - Book 2

 

 

The first book was all from a cat´s point of view, while the new one is a mixture. Cat Magick poems are more varied.

On the stroke
Of midnight
The hand
Of darkness
Casts a cloak
Of velvet dreams
Over the sleepers

And for all
Who are wakeful
An exquisite tenderness
Smoothes away
The wrinkles of the day
Like the paw
Of a yawning cat
Stretching, releasing
Embracing the air
Without a care
